(Door 6: It’s a giant Clow card. Sakura changes it into a Sakura card and it disappears.)
(Door 5: It’s a labyrinth. You smash through it with Kaho’s bell.)
(Door 4: It’s a waterfall. You freeze it and smash through.)
(Door 3: It’s a giant box of living plushies. It tips over and the plushies run off giggling.)
(Door 2: It’s a Venetian blind. You spend five minutes trying to get it to roll up before cutting through it with scissors.)
(Door 1: It’s made of concrete. The plushies come back with construction equipment and reduce it to dust.)
(Door .7: The camera pans downward to a teleporter pad. You step onto it and are suddenly surrounded by bright light.)
Sakura, Syaoran, Tomoyo and Aeris are teleported directly into their seats while Kero-Chan floats overhead.
>Chapter 3: End Fights
Sakura: Oh! It’s an anti-violence message!
Kero: It picked a lousy fic to appear in.
> It didn't take Sakura long to find the Master's estate once she got to

Syaoran: By the way, that should be the “Masters’ Estate”, thank you very much.

Tomoyo: Just like the fortress of a Bond villain. This meant Sakura was inside in seconds.

Kero: Dear God! Let’s not go there!

Aeris: Whew… Guess we jumped the gun there.

> "And what are you going to do about it," he said as he poked her in the

Tomoyo:<Sakura Kasugano> HI-KEEBA!!

Kero:<Alex Trebek> You must answer in the form of a question.
Syaoran:<guard> Lady, I can’t see much of *anything* at this moment.
> "Only if you can defeat me," came a voice from behind her. Sakura turned
>around and was looking at a young man with strawberry blond hair. He was
>wearing a red gi, with the sleeves ripped off and a well worn black belt.
Tomoyo: Geez… Where did Ken learn how to banter? SNK games?
Syaoran:<Ken> You shall not be beating me, for I, Ken are the bestest!
> "As you wish," replied Sakura as she ripped off her rain coat.
Kero: Wait… Why the hell is she wearing a rain coat during
a sunny day in *
Aeris: I think he means a trench coat.
>The man was momentarily stunned by what he saw. Sakura was wearing a bright red body
>suit with a turtle neck. On top of that was a traditional Japanese sailor suit
>school uniform that was about two sizes too small for her. It did conform to
>her body quite well. She also had on her arm gauntlets and white headband.
>She wore a pair of comfortable red Converse for their comfort and flexibility.
Kero: Okay. THAT’S IT!!
Sakura: Kero?!
Kero: First of all, Sakura’s uniform is *NOT* two sizes too small because it still fits fairly loosely and her skirt does in fact come down to her knees. *SECOND*, she doe *NOT* wear a body suit. Yes, she does wear some sort of spandex gym clothes, but if she was wearing a body suit, you’d see it in the gap between her skirt and her shirt when she jumps. Last, Sakura has *never* worn gauntlets, they’re padded hand guards.
Syaoran: Are you done now?
Kero: Yeah. I think so.
>"SHO-O-KEN!!" she exclaimed as she did her spinning uppercut.
> The man was taken by surprise, first by the way the girl was dressed, and
>second by her opening move. It was much like his and Ryu's dragon punch.
>Unfortunately it was stronger than their normal version. The man went flying

Tomoyo: The hell…?! Her shoryuken is stronger than theirs?!
> "Now can I see Ken Masters?" Sakura asked. The man got to his feet.
> "I am Ken Masters!" he exclaimed. He dropped into a forward roll to a
>point just before the girl and did a kick to her stomach. He knew from her
>first attack that she was well trained, but it bothered him that he was
>fighting a young girl.
Aeris: No? Really?
Syaoran: Ken Masters: Ninja Master of the Obvious!
>That caused him to go lighter than he would normally.
>That was a mistake.
Tomoyo:<ominous> And he would not live to make it again.
> Sakura felt the air empty from her lungs. She went down on one knee.
>She could hardly pull any air into her lungs, but she forced herself to. She
>had to defeat this opponent. She had to find out about Ryu. She had to
>FIGHT!!!!
All: GAH!!
Sakura: Geez… When did the SFA3 announcer show up?
> "SHUN-PU-KYAKU!!!" she exclaimed and she jumped into the air and forced
>her leg out. Sakura's foot connected with Ken's jaw. His head snapped back,
>shortly followed by his body.
Kero: She kicked his head clean off?
Aeris: Uhhh… Fatality?
>Ken went down hard. Sakura ran up to him and
>grabbed him by the collar. "Where's Ryu?!" she shouted in his face.
> "Ryu?" Ken asked still in a daze. "Whaaa...?"
Tomoyo:<Ken> You mean you’re not interested in *me*?
> "WHERE IS RYU!!!" Unfortunately Ken was unconscious.
All:<muted trumpet imitation>Wah-wah-wah-waaaaaaahhhhh…
> When Ken woke up, on a couch in his house, he saw the young girl who beat
>his head in, holding a cold rag to his head. He recalled the moments before
>his world went black. This girl was looking for Ryu. Why? Ken sat up.
Aeris:<coach> Okay. Now do a hundred more.
> "Are you all right," she asked.
> "Not really," he replied.
Sakura:<Ken> By the way, where’s my other arm?
> "I'm sorry, I lost control of myself."
> "Trust me, I'm used to getting beat on," he said.
Kero: In other words, he sucks as a street fighter
Syaoran: Ken Masters IS The Amazing Jobber!
>"Although never by a
>girl half my age," he added with a smile. "By the way, what's your name?"
> "Sakura."
Tomoyo:<Sakura Kasugano> My name is Sakura Kasugano. You killed my father. Prepare to die,
> "OK, Sakura, why are you looking for Ryu?"
> "I want him to finish my training."
> "Finish... When did he start?"
Kero: How the hell would she know, you moron?
> "A few years ago." Sakura told Ken about how she met Ryu, and how she
>learned his moves. She left out everything about her parents however.
Syaoran: Instead she claimed that she was raised by wolves.
> "That's amazing," Ken replied after she finished her story. "Would you
>like me to help you learn more about the 'Hadoken'?" he asked her.
> "Could you?" she asked excitedly.
Aeris:<Ken> No.
> "Yes."
> "Can you tell me where to find Ryu as well?"
> "Maybe, I'm not sure of that myself at the moment." He saw Sakura's mood
>change from excited to sad. "I'm trying to find him myself."
> "Really, why?"
Kero:<Ken> He stood me up at the altar, the bitch!
> "So we can prove once and for all who's the greatest fighter in the
>world."
> "That would be me," Sakura said and smiled. Ken smiled and laughed.
> "You might be right about that."
Sakura: So she beat Ken and Charlie but lost to Adon? What’s wrong with this picture?
> Sakura spent the next couple of days practicing the Hadoken with Ken.
>Even though he was a good instructor, she couldn't master it. She was just not
>able to create the energy ball. Ken confessed to her, that he wasn't as good
>as Ryu with the technique.
Syaoran: What a surprise. So far, Ken couldn’t beat eggs.
>Sakura watched intently as Ken performed it,

> Ken tried to explain the breathing and spiritual parts of the Hadoken,
>and as far as he could tell, Sakura was doing everything perfectly. Though,
>for some reason he didn't understand, she couldn't produce the Ki ball.
Tomoyo: Which is strange since she’s apparently learned the Shoryuken better than either Ken or Ryu.
> While she was training on her fighting styles with Ken, she was also
>learning to use his computer as well. She found that she preferred playing the
>games to everything else. Her gaming skills were pretty good. She liked
>adventure games the most though, and when Ken showed her how to play them
>on-line, she was ecstatic. Sakura loved playing against other people.
Aeris: INTENSE… GAMING… ACTION!!!
Sakura: So… she shacked up with Ken for a few days too?
> One day, about a week after finding out about the on-line games, Sakura
>lost a multi-player game when a message for Ken was e-mailed. It was marked
>"URGENT".
Syaoran: And that means what? Most spam is marked “URGENT” too.
>With Ken out, Sakura decided to open the file so that she could pass
>it on to him. When she saw what it was, her mouth dropped and she exclaimed
>"YES!!!" The file contained the current location of Ryu.
Kero: Well, *that’s* convenient.
> When Ken returned home, he noticed that Sakura had disappeared.

> "I guess she decided to move on." Ken said to no one in particular.
>Having had a long day, Ken went right to bed without checking his messages.
Sakura: Tonight on Deus Ex Machina Theater…
> Ryu sat on a
hilltop in
>a few birds singing merrily away. He breathed in practiced breaths as he

Tomoyo: But was he breathing? You *must* tell us!
>Ryu enjoyed meditation in the open air, far away from other people.
>It helped him to concentrate more. He needed to think much more clearly now,
>that ever before. For some reason the man Sagat, a man he called friend, had
>turned against him.
Syaoran: Gee… Maybe that HUGE SCAR you gave him has something to do with it?
>Sagat had been like a wild animal in his attacks, and it
>was clear he wanted to destroy Ryu. The problem was Ryu had no idea why.
Sakura: Ryu clearly needs some serious work in the “getting a clue” department
> The battle had been hard fought, and Ryu had almost lost. He won by
>using the Hadoken against his old friend. It had not been a pleasant sight.
>The Ki energy had blasted Sagat full in the chest, ripping open the skin and
>exposing the muscle underneath. Ryu had put too much power into the blast.
Kero: ARGHHHHHH!! YOU IDIOT!! Even a complete novice to Street Fighter games knows that scar was caused by Ryu’s Shoryuken attack!
Tomoyo: The author screwed up the continuity? Are any of us surprised at this point?
> It took all the strength he had, but Ryu was able to bring Sagat to a
>hospital. The Doctors took one look at Sagat, and told Ryu to leave the
>country as soon as possible. The look in the Doctors eyes told Ryu not to ask
>questions and to take the advice. Ryu returned home

Aeris: Because Doctors are perfectly okay with aiding and abetting a felony assault charge.
> Ryu's thought were interrupted by a sound.
Sakura: This author writes in Engrish, I see.
Syaoran:<Ryu> Greetings, gentlemen. All your base are belong to us. A winner is me.
>It was a familiar one, but
>not one he should have been hearing here, in the middle of nowhere. It was the
>sound of someone walking towards him from behind. The steps were light, so it
>had to be someone small, or very well trained. He stood up and turned around.
Kero: INTENSE… STANDING… ACTION!!!

Tomoyo: Yeah. The same way *Ken* studied her, am I right?
>She had a long strip of cloth tied on her head, a lot like he
>himself wore. On her hands he could see something definitely out of place on a
>young girl... fighting gauntlets, again much like he wore himself. This girl
>was a fighter.
Aeris:<Ryu> Also, the sky is blue.
>He could see in her face that she was and something else as
>well. She looked very familiar to him, but he couldn't place her.
> "I want you to train me," the girl announced.
Kero: Err… No comment.
> "I am not ready to be an instructor, young lady," Ryu replied. He turned
>away.
> "I have been searching for you for years!" Sakura exclaimed.
Sakura:<Sakura Kasugano> You were even harder to find than Spock!
> "Maybe in a few years, I'll be ready to train you, but not right now. I
>am still a student."
> "Please let me learn with you then."
> "I'm sorry, but I haven't trained with anyone for a couple years, and I'm
>not ready to do that again."
Tomoyo: Yeah. I suppose training with Ken will do that to a person.
> "Damn you!!!" Sakura exclaimed as she jumped up to him. Ryu turned to
>face the girl. The look of anguish on her face stunned him. He recognized
>her.
Syaoran:<Ryu> Aren’t you the girl I stood up at the prom?
> "You're the..." He was cut off as Sakura exclaimed a war cry and started
>to attack Ryu. Ryu blocked the first two hits, but Sakura's third punch got
>him in the jaw. Ryu realized that he would have to stop her before he could
>talk to her. He did a leg sweep.
Tomoyo: What that has to do with the proceeding sentences, we may never know.
> Sakura was caught by Ryu's foot, and fell on her rear. However, she used
>her momentum to roll back and into a standing position.
> "Not bad," Ryu commented.
> "Thanks." Sakura ran towards him.
Kero: They’re very polite fighters, I’ll give them that.
>Ryu started to block for a jump kick,
>but instead, Sakura went down into a slide, and caught Ryu's ankles between her
>legs. With a quick body rotation, Sakura caused Ryu to lose his balance and
>fall to the ground. She quickly got to her feet. She smiled as Ryu got to his

Aeris: Instead of, say, setting up another attack?
Syaoran: They spend a lot of time getting to their feet.
Sakura: INTENSE… STANDING… ACTION…
> "SHO-RYU-KEN!!!!" Ryu exclaimed as he performed his dragon punch. Sakura
>had been expecting an attack, but not that one. She was hit in the stomach,
>and then in the jaw, and finally she was airborne.
Tomoyo:<Sakura Kasugano> I can fly! I can fly! I can fly!
>Sakura landed
>unceremoniously on her butt. "Are you done?" Ryu asked just below the level
>of barking.
Syaoran:<Ryu> ARF! ARF! RUFF!
Aeris: What’s that, Ryu? Timmy fell down a well?
>Sakura didn't answer. She just sat there with her legs crossed
>and her head in her hands.
> Ryu walked up to her. He could hear the girl sobbing. *Oh no,* he
>thought *I really hurt her.*
Kero: Punching people does that, Ryu.
>Ryu stepped closer. "ASSHOLE!!!!!" she screamed
>as she jumped up.
Syaoran: Hey! That’s not Sakura, it’s Dennis Leary in disguise!
Kero: Quick, Ryu! Hit him again!
>Sakura brought her fists together in an upward arc. Ryu was
>taken by surprise. Sakura angled her fists into Ryu's stomach.
> Ryu felt all the air forced from his lungs...
Aeris:<Lloyd Bridges> By this time my lungs were aching for air,
>It felt as if fire were escaping from his mouth. His feet left the ground and he could see the clouds
>in the sky past them. He felt a wave of nausea hit him as his feet saw the
>ground again. It took all his control to not to throw up, although his own
>amazement at landing back on his feet helped ease the nausea.
Tomoyo: Funny, we’ve been feeling like that since part one.
>"I am not ready to be an instructor," he said to her, still trying to focus his eyes.
> "I DON"T BELIEVE YOU!!!!" she cried as she ran away from him as fast as
>she could.
Sakura: You LIE, Joe!
>Once she was out of sight, Ryu doubled over and heaved on the

Kero: For once I can identify with him.
>Epilogue
All: YAY!!
> Ryu was sitting meditating again. His meditation was very troubled, not
>only because of Sagat, but now because of the girl. After the fight, he
>realized who she was.
Aeris: She was Barbarella, Queen of the Galaxy!
>The girl was a little older and had adopted some of the
>Shotokan school's techniques, but he knew it was the same girl whose rape he
>had interrupted a few years ago. It was Sakura.
Kero: Ryu once again describes an amazing ability to see the obvious.
>He now understood why she had
>fought so hard to get him to teach her. He was her symbol for safety.
> "RYU!!!" he heard exclaimed. The voice was a familiar male voice.
> "Hello, Ken," he replied.
Syaoran:<Seinfeld> Hello, Newman…
> "It's time, Ryu," Ken replied. "I want my rematch."
> "Ken, I..." Ryu started calmly.
> "I don't want to hear it, Ryu. I've spent too much time looking for
>you." Ken got down into attack position. "NOW FIGHT!!" Ryu did the only
>thing he could... He got ready for the fight.
Sakura: This just isn’t his day, is it?
Kero:<Ranma> Now you know how *I* feel, buddy.
> "YAH!!" Ken exclaimed as he did a series of punches. Ryu went to block
>them. However, he missed more then half. Ken changed to a series of kicks,
>surprising himself as Ryu went down on the ground without throwing one punch.
>"What is wrong Ryu?" Ken asked, concern openly displayed.
Tomoyo: Could someone find us the *right* Ryu?
> Ryu looked up at the man who for years was his best friend, and replied,
>"I lost to a school girl... a young school girl."
Sakura:<Kunzite> Get in line, buddy.
> Ken smiled. The smile caused Ryu's eyes to go wide. He didn't expect
>Ken to make fun of him. "So, you've met Sakura."
> "You know her?" Ryu asked.
Kero:<Ryu> Biblically?
Sakura: Kero!
> "Yep." He paused. "Got my ass kicked by her too." He held his hand to
>his old friend. "She's a tough one. Honestly, she reminds me a lot of Chun
>Li." Ryu smiled at that remark as he stood face to face with Ken.
> "A fiery pair they'd make," he added. He walked towards his shoulder
>bag. "She wanted me to train her." He picked up two water bottles and handed
>one to Ryu.
Syaoran: Wait… Who’s talking here? I’m lost.
> "You turned her down, didn't you." It was a statement, not a question.
> "I think I broke her heart." Ryu looked at his feet. "I need to find
>her, Ken.
Aeris:<Ryu> Along with my missing quotation mark.
> "No, Ryu," he contradicted, "we need to find her." He grabbed Ryu's hand
>in his. "We need to be a team again." Ryu grasped Ken's hands in agreement.
Kero:<Ryu> Just keep in mind I still don’t seing that way.
> THE END??
All: YES!!
Sakura: Damn it! He’s pulling a Hal P. Warren on us!

“Well, that was a real chore,” Sakura muttered as she rubbed her temples.
“I’ll say,” said Tomoyo. “First we get gratuitous fanservice that seems like it belongs in Najica Blitz Tactics, except that even that anime would use a *twelve-year old* for fanservice. Then we get the completely over-the-top nightclub/rape scene and that’s not even chapter on done yet.”
“That’s followed by the attack of the evil Kasugano parents in yet *another* ludicrous scene,” Syaoran added. “That’s followed by Sakura getting kicked out of school for beating up the coach, who she shacks up with for four years and that’s part one.”
“In part two we get the first fight scenes, which aren’t bad but are far from great,” said Kero. “We get an early mention that Sakura now *hates* men, which is a legitimate response to the trauma she endured, but it’s only mentioned, it never becomes a plot point. We meet several Street Fighters and a bunch of Gangland redshirts along with some seriously gratuitous Ranma cameo action. That’s followed by a meeting with Mai Shiranui that reeks of backpedaling when the author clearly realized that his plot left out why Sakura wore her school uniform and he clearly hopes it will seem like a clever explanation for Chun Li’s outfit to boot. Instead, it just reminds us what happened the last time Sakura played Slutty Dress-Up Time, although she has clearly forgotten.”
“In part three we got the show downs with Ken and Ryu and, once again, Sakura shacks up with a strange man just because,” said Aeris. “After her fight with Ryu, she throws a hissy fit and storms off. End of story.”
“Frankly, I think the instruction manual was the only thing RanmaSolo had read about Sakura before writing this thing,” said Syaoran.
Sakura shrugged. “What do you think, sirs?”

DEEP 13
“All very astute observations, my little guinea pigs,” said Eriol with a smirk. “But as you’re all still standing, I’ll just have to try harder next time. Push the button, Ruby Moon.”
Ruby Moon didn’t even look up from her magazine as she gave the button a smack.

Well, I’m certainly glad that *this* fanfic is finally off my to-do list. Between watching the Olympics, preparing for a new semester and my new comic, I haven’t had as much time for MSTing as I’d like.
However, Episodes 40 and 41 are already started along with Episodes 5 and 6 for TST3K, so I hope those will be coming along shortly.
